The Scent Styler is local-first and private by design. Here is exactly where your data lives and how to take it with you.
Where your data lives
On the free plan, your vanity and diary are kept on your own device. Creating an account is free and you can sign in on any plan; on the free plan your collection still stays on your device.
Cloud backup and sync across devices begin with a Muse or Collector plan. That is the moment your collection is mirrored for safekeeping and made available wherever you sign in.
Export -- always free
You can export your full collection at any time, on every plan, including the free plan, with no account. Export is the universal data-ownership feature: your records are portable, full stop.
Import
Bulk importing an existing collection is a Muse feature, so the heavier lifting of bringing a large library in is reserved for the Muse and Collector plans.
Story keepsakes
Collector members can export any single Fragrance Story as a PDF keepsake, set in the house typeface and made to be reread. This is a per-story export, distinct from the full-collection export above.
Privacy and deletion
