How it works, in plain terms
Getting started
Open The Scent Styler and begin. There is no sign-up wall: your vanity and diary start on this device, anonymously and for free. You can add fragrances and log what you wore right away.
On your phone
The Scent Styler installs to your home screen like an app. In Safari on iPhone, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. In Chrome on Android, open the menu and choose Add to Home Screen or Install app.
Working fully offline is coming soon. For now an internet connection is still needed; we will say so here the moment offline support ships.
Accounts and backup
Creating an account is free, and you can sign in on the free plan. On the free plan your collection still lives on your own device. Cloud backup and sync across your devices begin with Muse or Collector.
How does the layering guidance work?
Open the Atelier and it suggests up to three ways to layer your fragrances for the season, the occasion, and the mood. Prefer to build your own? Pin a base you already own and it recommends what to layer on top, drawn from your collection, with a short read on how well each piece sits together. Ask the Concierge and it will describe how any combination wears. The Atelier is a Muse feature.
Can I track compliments?
Yes. As you log a day's wearing, note the compliments a fragrance earned; over time you can see which scents turn the most heads. Compliment tracking is free, on every plan.
Your collection data
You can export your full collection at any time, for free, with no account. Bulk importing a collection is a Muse feature. The Your Data page covers this in full.
