Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of TheScentStyler (the "Service"), operated by Blueprint AI Strategy LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service or to subscribe to a paid tier.

2. The Service

TheScentStyler lets you catalog fragrances and body products, journal your daily wear, and receive AI-generated recommendations, written summaries, and imagery. Features available to you depend on your subscription tier (see Section 5).

3. Your account

Sign-in uses a passwordless "magic link" sent to your email. You are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure, and for activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

4. Your content

You own your content. The fragrance data, journal entries, and other material you create remain yours. You grant us a limited license to host, store, process, and display that content solely to operate the Service for you — including transmitting the relevant content to the third-party AI providers described in our Privacy Policy in order to generate features you request. We claim no ownership of your content.

5. Subscriptions and billing

The Service offers a Free tier and paid tiers (Muse and Collector). Paid tiers are billed on a recurring monthly basis through our payment processor, Stripe.

• Auto-renewal. Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each monthly billing period until canceled.
• Cancellation. You may cancel at any time through the billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Price changes. We may change prices, with notice before a change takes effect for your subscription.
• Refunds. Refunds are governed by our separate Refund & Billing Policy.

6. AI-generated content

Recommendations, written summaries, note imagery, and other AI outputs are generated automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or not to your taste. They are provided for your personal enjoyment and convenience and are not professional advice of any kind.

7. Fragrance, skin, and health disclaimer

The Service may suggest how to combine, layer, or apply fragrances and body products. This is not medical, dermatological, or safety advice. Fragrances and cosmetic products can cause allergic reactions or skin sensitivity. You are responsible for reviewing product labels and ingredients, performing patch tests where appropriate, and following manufacturer instructions. Do not rely on the Service for any decision affecting your health or safety.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to access it in unauthorized ways, interfering with its operation, scraping or overloading it, infringing others' rights, or using it for unlawful purposes.

9. Intellectual property

The Service itself — including its software, design, branding, and our own content — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by law. These Terms do not grant you any rights in it except the limited right to use the Service as intended.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI outputs will be accurate.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed one hundred US dollars (US $100).

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or to protect the Service or other users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will revise the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you. Continued use after changes means you accept them.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Ohio, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
